Since the early 1980s, David has been mastering the craft of production using classic instruments like the Roland TB303 and TR606, marrying analog textures with digital precision. His sonic signature — deep bass, crisp percussion, and soulful melody — bridges generations and continues to evolve while staying rooted in authenticity.

Throughout his career, David has collaborated with artists including Kaya Newman (with upcoming releases in 2026), roots pioneer Tenastelin, and producer Keety Roots. Many of his creations are bespoke Specials and Dubplates — crafted exclusively for sound systems and selectors seeking individuality and depth.

db Productions was founded as a creative collective dedicated to expanding the soundscape of reggae. Under David’s vision, the studio merges styles and influences into what he calls the “Reggae Man Soul” groove — a movement that celebrates diversity, unity, and musical integrity.
